Horse Riding in Shropshire

Day 1

Arrive today and settle into your 5* Country House Bed and Breakfast in glorious Shropshire countryside near the beautiful medieval market town of Ludlow, famous for its food and its festivals. The B&B has 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms all of which have an en-suite or private bathroom. Upon arrival tuck into afternoon tea with homemade jams and scones or cakes on the terrace if it's sunny, or in front of a warming log fire in the elegant drawing room. For the duration of your stay this B&B is your home and you are encouranged to enjoy the 7 acres of beautiful gardens with free range chickens and ducks, an orchard and of course the stables. There are 4 loose boxes with straw or shavings and hay or haylage is provided.

The Country House B&B is right on a bridleway that leads directly to the Jack Mytton Way and over the Brown Clee and Titterstone Clee Hills. Literally 1000s of acres of riding country – fantastic scenery and virtually no need to go on a road.

Day 2

After breakfast you are free to make the most of your day here in the stunning Shropshire countryside with your horse. Saddle up and head off in whichever direction you care to go. The B&B will provide you with maps and route cards and they will even make packed lunch for you if you want to make a day of it. There are a variety of local pubs that are horse friendly if you prefer. Occasionally Izzy, your host may be able to join you and show you the way!

After a long day in the saddle, have a deep soak in the bath or use the sauna in the cellar to really relax. Dinner this evening can be arranged (the B&B has no licence so bring your own wine) or there are local pubs serving good home cooked food nearby.

Day 3

Today is your final day, check out time is flexible so if your in no rush you may want to venture out on one last hack. The B&B has a lockable tack room with saddle racks and storage space and plenty of parking for trailers and lorries.
