The Chalet
Mews Hill is a large 5 bed detached chalet style property set in a commanding position on a large plot. It can accommodate 11 guests in total comfort. Positioned a mile from the pretty river fronted town of Fordingbridge, Mws Hill is set on the fringe of the New Forest in which to enjoy the natural beauty of the National Park. Whether you are a seasoned rider or a beginner rider, the New Forest can cater for your experience levels and ensure your stay with us will provide lasting memories.
The accommodation comprises a ground floor double bedroom, a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room, separate cloakroom and a family bathroom with a separate shower enclosure and bath.
The first floor comprises a family bedroom with double and single bed, a shower room, a twin bedroom, and a further bedroom with en-suite shower room.
The garden has a barbeque and seating for 11 guests. We have also added a trampoline and created a games room within the garage, which now has table football and a full sized table tennis table.
Stabling
There is a soft drive via a 5 bar gate which leads to our new stabling built last year. Suitable for 2 ponies or small horses the stabling has just been approved by the British Horse Society as a ‘Horses Welcome’ stabling. We have 2 separate stables with a separate secure tack room. The stables adjoin a 2-acre paddock. Within a short drive, you can enjoy the wide-open expanse of the National Park. Here you can find miles and miles of stunning countryside providing off-road hacking across fields and bridleways.
DIY stabling – £75 per horse per week.
Parking
It has parking for up to 5 cars with ample room to park a horsebox or trailer.
Other Info
We are happy to accept dogs at Mews Hill. Also, we own a 75-yard stretch of the River Avon including 4 swims for any keen fisherman amongst your group. Please enquire for a brochure.
We also have two other holiday homes Criddlestyle Cottage and Riverside Lodge, providing accommodation for up to 25 guests in total for large group bookings all within walking distance of each other.
