Rock Farm is equipped with 3 loose boxes which can sleep 2 horses each (stabling is on a DIY basis) and a 1 acre paddock as well as a secure tack room. Bedding can be provided at an extra cost or alternatively you can bring your own, so it is perfect for groups that would like to bring their horses to explore riding routes covering some of the most breath taking, beautiful countryside in the UK. These circular routes reach across Exmoor and the Quantock Hills offering horse owners the opportunity to enjoy the holiday of a lifetime.
There is a local company (Quantock Trekking) situated 1 mile from the house in West Bagborough that can provide guided riding tours for guests that would prefer not to bring their own horse and hire one instead. Quantock Trekking can also provide a guide to escort you on your own horse around the best and most spectacular routes surrounding the house.
There is plenty of parking for cars, lorry’s and horse trailers.
This property is split into two parts - the main original house and the Granary (annexe) which forms the other side of the courtyard setting. The main house has 4 beautiful en-suite bedrooms and is where the main kitchen, dining and living areas can be found which will accommodate the whole group comfortably. The Granary has 3 bedrooms which represent the quirky side of the property; each with their own distinctive style they share a good sized bathroom and the smaller of the bedrooms has its own balcony from which you can gaze over a significant proportion of Somerset. Or alternatively sit back in the massaging private hot tub and soothe away the aches and pains after a long day out and about.
