Day One
Arrive today and settle into your chosen accommodation. You will either be staying in a trwin or double en-suite bedroom in the farmhouse, or the 1 up 1 down self contained on site apartment with double bed and en-suite shower room.
Once you have settled your horse you might want to start by making the most of the direct hacking out onto the beautiful Quantock Hills. From the farm you can ride from 1 – 3hrs over the hills. During your ride you will be able to take in the stunning views, such as a 360° vista from the hill near the farm, see Minehead, the Coast of Wales, Burnham on Sea, Weston-Super-Mare, Brent Knoll, The Polden Hills, The Mendip Hills, The Somerset Levels and Wetlands, North Petherton, The Vale of Taunton Deane, Wellington Monument, Willet Hill, Dunster Castle, Carhampton, Bishops Lydeard Steam Railway and much more.
This evening you can take the short stroll to the local pub where you will find an array of local ales and traditional pub food.
Day Two
Today we suggest that you make the most of the exceptional off road hacking and head out for a full day ride from the farm. Hacking in the local area is very good. Minimal road work is required with excellent access to quiet tracks and bridleways spanning across almost 100 square kilometres of the Quantock Hills. Your host will provide you with recommended routes and a map if required. Alternatively if you want to make the most of the fabulous location you could truck your horses over to the nearby beach.
Day Three
Today is your final day and you might want to make use of the floodlit all weather arena. The ménage has a top of the range surface and was built by Martin Collins enterprises, so why not have a riding lesson on your own horse during your holiday. A set of show jumps are available if required.
Non riders could get involved with the Birds of Prey experience. This is a thrilling 2hr session spent with Owls, Falcons and Hawks learning all about the birds and having the opportunity to let one of these wonderful birds of prey fly to your gloved hand.
The price includes a full farmhouse breakfast with free range eggs for those staying in the B&B.
